he Electricians’ Guild is a professional organization dedicated to uplifting the quality of electricians in Sri Lanka. Recognized as the National Vocational Qualification Level IV of Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification, the Guild aims to promote knowledge, skills, and best practices in the field of electrical engineering.
Our mission is to ensure the safety of electrical installations, disseminate information, assist members with government compliances, provide continuous training and workshops, foster cooperation with similar institutes, and maintain international standards such as the Dublin Accord for engineering technicians.

MEMBERSHIPS
The Electricians’ Guild offers the following classes of membership:
1. Senior Professional Members
Candidates must hold a National Vocational Qualification Level IV of Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission. Additionally, they should have more than eight years of experience as an electrician and have successfully completed the professional review examination conducted by the Guild.
2. Professional Members
Professional Members: Candidates must hold a National Vocational Qualification Level IV of Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission. They should have more than four years of experience as an electrician and have successfully completed the professional review examination conducted by the Guild.
3. Associate Members
Candidates must hold a National Vocational Qualification Level IV of Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission. They should have successfully completed the professional review examination conducted by the Guild or hold membership in an equivalent qualification recognized by the Council.
